The AutoPersonify API lets your app build owner-approved twins and make presenter or twin videos from a script, billed by finished minute. Keys are server-side, errors include end-user messages, and progress is live.

Honest limits

  • A twin needs at least one real photo or a short video. It cannot be made from a written description alone.
  • Every twin requested through the API waits for the account owner to tap Approve before it is built.
  • Several photos do not create a 360° model. The sharpest front-facing photo sets the face; a short video adds the most realism.
  • Videos take a few minutes to make, usually 2 to 10. Poll every 10 to 15 seconds or use webhooks.
  • Every finished video uses the account's video minutes. When they run out, the API returns allowance_exceeded with a message you can show as it is.
  • Call the API from server code only. Never put the key in browser code.

Questions people ask

Can I build a twin without the person's consent?

No. Every API twin needs a likeness statement and the account owner's approval.

What file sizes are accepted?

Photos up to 50 MB each and one video up to 500 MB. Send originals, not compressed copies.

Can I build a twin from a text prompt?

No. You need at least one real photo or a short video.

Can I use the API from the browser?

No. Keep the key on your server.

What happens when minutes run out?

The API returns 402 allowance_exceeded with a user_message and upgrade link; nothing is made or charged.

Do API videos show in my account?

Yes, in Projects, tagged as made through the API.

Can I delete a video?

Yes, DELETE /videos/{id}, unless it has a paid share.

Is there a sandbox?

Use the free plan's 3 minutes to test end to end.
