Cold lead sales

Make the video first. Let them buy it in one click.

The oldest problem in agency new business is asking a stranger to imagine what you would do. This removes the imagining: you send the finished thing.

You add a lead, produce a presenter-led video about their business, set your own price, and send it. They get a private page with your name and logo on it, watch the video with a watermark across it, and pay by card. The watermark disappears, the download unlocks, and the money goes to your account. We take 5% of the sale.

The seven steps, start to finish

  1. 1Add the leadCompany name, website, contact name and email. Leads live in their own area, separate from your clients.
  2. 2Produce the videoTheir website informs the script. Choose a presenter, check the words, render. A 90-second video takes minutes, not days.
  3. 3Set your priceSale price and a fixed revision price, in pounds. Minimum £5; there is no maximum and no recommended price.
  4. 4Send itThey receive an email saying you have produced a video for their company, with a link to watch it.
  5. 5They watchA clean page: your name, your logo, the video, the price, one button. No navigation, no sign-up prompt, no supplier branding.
  6. 6They buyCard payment in one step. The watermark comes off, the download unlocks immediately and both sides get a receipt.
  7. 7The conversation startsThey can message you, thank you, or request a change. Changes are charged at your revision price and paid before you start.

Why the watermark matters

The lead sees the whole video, all the way through, with a repeating mark across it. They are never asked to trust a description or a thumbnail. What they are buying is the clean file, and that only exists behind the payment.

The offer page is deliberately not a product tour. There is no route from it to signing up and making one themselves, no pricing links, no marketing, and no badge. Just your agency, the work, and the price.

Money, fees and payouts

Who gets paid

The payment is between the lead and your agency. It lands in your own connected account, and our 5% is deducted automatically as a platform fee. There is no waiting for us to pass money on.

What you need before the first sale

A one-time payout setup: business details and a bank account. Until that is done, the send button will tell you what is missing. Producing and previewing videos needs none of it.

Rules that protect both sides

  • Offers expire after 30 days by default, and you can reopen one with a button.
  • If a lead disputes or you refund, our fee is reversed too and the download is revoked.
  • One lead can receive several videos over time, and revenue rolls up per lead.
  • Unsubscribes are honoured and bounced addresses are flagged.
  • A speculative video still uses your plan allowance, so the leads area shows cost against revenue earned.

Worked example (illustration). An agency sends eight videos a month at £300. One buys outright, one buys and then pays £90 for a change: £690 collected, £34.50 in fees, on a £149 plan.

Turning a buyer into a client

A lead who has paid you once is the warmest prospect you will ever have. One button moves them into your clients area with the video and the whole conversation intact, and from there the normal review, approval and retainer process applies.

Two ways to start

Make a real video on the free allowance first: three minutes of finished video, no card. Then read how the cold-lead sale works end to end.
