A personalised video API that makes one video per customer

Merge each customer's details into a script and make a video just for them, safely, with idempotency keys so nothing is made twice.

Build a script per customer from your own data, then POST /videos once per customer with an idempotency_key such as the customer id. Each finished video is billed by its length.

How it works

Honest limits

  • Videos take a few minutes to make, usually 2 to 10. Poll every 10 to 15 seconds or use webhooks.
  • Every finished video uses the account's video minutes. When they run out, the API returns allowance_exceeded with a message you can show as it is.
  • Call the API from server code only. Never put the key in browser code.

Questions people ask

How much does a 30-second personal video cost?

It uses 30 seconds of the plan's video minutes. Starter includes 30 minutes for £49 a month, so roughly 60 such videos.

Will a retry create a duplicate?

Not if you send the same idempotency_key. The API returns the original video instead.

Can my founder's twin send them?

Yes. Build the founder's twin once, with their approval, and use twin_id.
