Release notes get skimmed. A 30-second video from a familiar face gets watched.

Honest limits

Videos take a few minutes to make, usually 2 to 10. Poll every 10 to 15 seconds or use webhooks.
Every finished video uses the account's video minutes. When they run out, the API returns allowance_exceeded with a message you can show as it is.
Call the API from server code only. Never put the key in browser code.

Questions people ask

Can it be fully automatic?

Technically yes. We recommend a human approval step before anything goes public.

Vertical for social too?

API videos are currently delivered in one format; for vertical social cuts, use the AutoPersonify app.

How long should it be?

20 to 45 seconds works best for updates.
