Turn text into an avatar video with one API call

Your app already has the words: release notes, lesson text, a sales follow-up. Send them as a script and get back a video of a person saying them.

Send text as the script to POST /videos with a presenter_id or twin_id. AutoPersonify speaks it word for word with a real-looking avatar and returns an MP4. Billing is by finished video minute.

How it works

  1. 1Prepare the textUp to 10,000 characters by default, which is roughly ten minutes of speech. The words are kept exactly as you send them.
  2. 2Choose who speaksA presenter from GET /presenters, or a ready twin from GET /twins.
  3. 3Send itPOST /videos returns 202 with an id and status rendering.
  4. 4Deliver itWhen status is ready, download or embed video_url.

What you can build

Honest limits

  • Videos take a few minutes to make, usually 2 to 10. Poll every 10 to 15 seconds or use webhooks.
  • Every finished video uses the account's video minutes. When they run out, the API returns allowance_exceeded with a message you can show as it is.
  • Call the API from server code only. Never put the key in browser code.

Questions people ask

Does it rewrite my text?

No. The script is spoken exactly as sent. Write it the way a person would say it.

How are prices in pounds spoken?

Amounts like £49 are spoken as 'forty-nine pounds'.

Can I make a long video?

Up to the script limit in one call. For longer pieces, split by chapter and make one video per part.
