Blog post to video
One post, written once, watched by the people who never read it.
Paste the post's web address or its text. The main argument is drafted into a short spoken script you edit, then one of 143 presenters delivers it as a finished video you can post or embed.
The detail, in plain English
A blog post is written for scanning: subheadings, links, lists. Spoken, it needs a single line of argument, because a listener cannot skim back up the page.
The strongest blog-to-video treatment is not a summary. It is the post's best claim, said in the first six seconds, followed by why it is true and where to read the rest.
What to do, step by step
- 1Paste the link or the textA public web address is read for you; otherwise paste the body text straight into the script box.
- 2Find the one claimDelete the preamble. Start on the sentence a reader would quote, then support it with two or three points.
- 3Produce it for the feedPick a presenter, choose a vertical shape if it is going to social, and finish with a line pointing back to the post.
What this format looks like as a video
| Post section | Seconds | Spoken job |
|---|---|---|
| Headline | 0–6 | The claim, stated plainly |
| Intro | 6–15 | Why it matters to this viewer |
| Body points | 15–45 | Two or three proofs, no lists |
| Conclusion | 45–55 | What to do differently |
| Call to action | 55–60 | Read the full post |
A worked example
Worked example (illustration). A 1,400-word post on cutting onboarding time becomes a 58-second vertical video that opens on the claim, gives two reasons, and closes by pointing to the post for the step-by-step detail.
What to watch out for
- Inline links have no spoken equivalent — say the destination or leave it to the description.
- A post title written for search often sounds clumsy read aloud; rewrite it as a sentence.
- Do not read the whole post. A 1,400-word article spoken in full runs past nine minutes.

Questions people ask
How long does it take?
Most people turn a post into a video in under fifteen minutes, because the thinking was done when the post was written. Only the opening usually needs real rewriting.
Can I change the wording?
Yes. The script is fully editable, and for blog content it almost always should be — written prose and spoken prose rarely match sentence for sentence.
What does it cost?
The free tier covers your first real video with no card. Publishing weekly usually fits Starter £49 a month; heavier content calendars sit on Growth £149.
