Adding screen recordings to video
Showing beats telling, but only when the two are in step.
Produce the presenter with a transparent background, then place them in a corner over your screen recording. Script the words to match what is on screen at each moment, and hold each screen long enough to read.
The detail, in plain English
The common failure is a presenter describing step three while the recording still shows step one. Write the script against the recording, not before it.
A corner presenter keeps a human in the frame while the screen does the explaining. Full-frame presenter shots belong at the open and the close.
Zoom into the part of the screen that matters. A full desktop at video resolution is unreadable on a phone.

What to watch out for
- Blur or fake any real customer data before recording.
- Turn off notifications — one banner ruins an otherwise finished video.
- Re-record the screen when the interface changes; a stale recording is worse than none.
