FAQ

Twenty questions agencies ask before they start.

Direct answers on cost, ownership, quality, payouts and refunds. No hedging.

The short version: your cost is a flat monthly plan, you set your own prices, we take 5% only when a cold lead buys through an offer link, your client never sees our name, and the finished video is yours to sell or hand over.

Questions and answers

What does a video cost my agency to produce?

Nothing beyond your monthly plan. Plans meter finished minutes of video: £49 for 30 minutes, £149 for 120 minutes, £499 for 480 minutes. A 90-second video uses 1.5 minutes of that.

Can I try it before paying?

Yes. A free account includes three minutes of finished video, five minutes of live AI conversation and one digital twin, with no card required.

What do you take from a sale?

5% of the sale price when a cold lead buys a video through an offer link. Nothing at all when you invoice a client directly in your own way.

Who owns the finished video?

You do, and you can pass ownership to your client or to the lead who buys it. There is no separate licence fee and no revenue share on how the video is used afterwards.

Will a client see that AutoPersonify made it?

No. Client workspaces, review links and lead offer pages carry your agency name and logo, and paid plans add no watermark to the finished file.

How long does one video take?

Minutes to render, and usually under an hour of agency time including writing and review. You are emailed when it is ready.

How many presenters are there?

143, each with a portrait and a playable preview so you can hear them before choosing. You can also create a digital twin of a real person, with their consent.

Can I make the same video in several languages?

Yes. A video can be produced in over 30 languages from the same script, which is a straightforward way to add value to a retainer.

What price can I charge a cold lead?

Whatever you choose, with a £5 minimum so the fees never exceed the sale. Most UK agencies price short videos between £150 and £750.

How does the lead actually pay me?

By card, on your branded offer page. The money goes to your own connected payout account, with our 5% deducted automatically.

What do I need to set up before I can sell?

A one-time payout setup with your business details and a bank account. Producing, previewing and sending unpriced work needs none of it.

Can the lead download the video without buying?

No. The preview carries a visible watermark and downloading is disabled. The clean file is only released through a short-lived link issued after payment.

What happens if a lead asks for a refund?

You can refund in full or in part. Our 5% is reversed with it and the buyer's download is revoked.

How long does an offer stay open?

30 days by default. You are reminded three days before it expires, and you can reopen an expired offer with one button.

Can I charge for changes?

Yes. You set a fixed revision price, and a lead pays it before the change is made. For retainer clients, include one round and charge for the rest.

Do speculative videos use my allowance?

Yes. A video sent to a lead who never buys still used minutes, which is why the leads area shows cost against revenue earned.

Can several people in my agency use one account?

Yes. Growth includes three people in a shared workspace and Scale includes ten, with a shared brand kit and templates.

How do I keep clients separate?

Each client gets their own workspace with its own brand, videos, review links and comment history, all billed to the one agency allowance.

Is it obvious the presenter is synthetic?

To most viewers it reads as a professional piece to camera. We would still tell a client how it was made if they ask, and we would not help you sell it as a film shoot.

What if I outgrow my plan mid-month?

You move up a plan, and the new allowance applies straight away. Usage is visible in the app at all times, so you are not surprised.

Two ways to start

Make a real video on the free allowance first: three minutes of finished video, no card. Then read how the cold-lead sale works end to end.
