Packaging

Agency video packages

Clients buy packages far faster than they buy quotes. Three named options, three prices, one decision.

Package your video work into three fixed options — a single video, a batch of five, and a monthly set — each with a named price, a fixed length and a fixed number of changes. Clients then choose rather than negotiate.

How it works, step by step

  1. 1Fix the length, not the effortPrice by finished minutes, because that is how your allowance is measured. A 90-second video is the workhorse of every package.
  2. 2Name the three tiersSingle, Five-pack and Monthly. Anything more than three choices slows the decision down.
  3. 3Write the inclusions oncePresenter, script, brand colours and logo, one round of changes, a review link and the finished file.
  4. 4Set the price inside the workspaceEach video can carry its own price on the review link, so the package price is collected without an invoice chase.

A worked example in pounds

Worked example (illustration). An agency on Growth at £149 a month sells two Five-packs in one month at £1,200 each. That is £2,400 collected, 15 of the plan's 120 finished minutes used, and the month's production cost is still £149.

What to watch out for

  • Do not sell unlimited changes. One round included, then charged, keeps packages profitable.
  • Keep package lengths short. A 90-second video is used far more often than a three-minute one.
  • Check the minutes maths before you sell a monthly package to several clients at once.

Questions agencies ask

How long does this take?

Writing the three packages is an afternoon of work. Producing any single video inside a package takes minutes once the script is agreed, so the package is limited by client approvals rather than production.

What does it cost?

Your only production cost is the plan. Starter is £49 a month for 30 finished minutes, which comfortably covers a Single and a Five-pack in the same month.

Does the client need an account?

No. Clients open a review link, watch, comment and approve without signing up for anything. Only your team needs accounts.
