Approvals
Approvals in one link. Changes with a price on them.
Most agency margin leaks after delivery, in scattered feedback and unpaid rounds. This closes both holes.
Clients review through a private branded link with no account and no password. They comment or request a change in the same place they watch. You see when it was opened and played, every version is kept, and a change can carry a fixed price that is paid before you start work.
How a review runs
- 1Send the linkAn email from your agency with your branding and the video. You get a confirmation that it went.
- 2They open itYou are emailed the first time it is opened, and you can see plays and view counts after that.
- 3They respondA comment, an approval, or a change request, all attached to that video rather than buried in a thread.
- 4You reply and re-renderAnswer in the same place, produce the new version, and send it. Both versions stay on the record.
- 5It is resolvedRequests are marked resolved, with who resolved them and when, so nothing is quietly dropped.
Charging for changes without friction
Publish the number
Set a fixed revision price when you send the work. A published number changes the client's behaviour before they ask, and it makes the first included round feel like a concession rather than an expectation.
Take payment before the work
For lead sales, a change request is paid at your revision price before you begin. For retainer clients, the included round comes first and further rounds are invoiced.
Keep the scope of a revision honest
A revision is a script change and a re-render. A different presenter, a different language or a new brief is a new video, and pricing it as one avoids an argument later.
Controls worth knowing about
- Copy, resend or revoke a review link at any time; a revoked link stops working immediately.
- Version labels, so everyone is talking about the same cut.
- Comments and replies stored against the video, not in email.
- Client comments need only a name and an email, so there is nothing for them to set up.
Two ways to start
Make a real video on the free allowance first: three minutes of finished video, no card. Then read how the cold-lead sale works end to end.
