Event promo video
Promotion, joining instructions and follow-up, produced on the event's timeline.
Event teams make four: a promotional video, a speaker introduction, a joining instructions video and a post-event follow-up. Promos run thirty to sixty seconds; joining instructions and follow-ups sit around sixty.
Why video earns its place here
Event marketing is a countdown, so speed beats polish. A promo that goes out the day the programme is confirmed sells more seats than a better one made three weeks later.
Joining instructions are the most neglected and the cheapest win. Venue, timings, parking and what to bring, sent forty-eight hours ahead, measurably reduces no-shows and the inbox that comes with them.
The four videos this sector makes most
| Video | Length | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Promotional video | 30–60 seconds | Date, venue, who it is for and the single reason to attend |
| Speaker introduction | 45 seconds | One per speaker, reused by the speaker's own audience |
| Joining instructions | 60 seconds | Timings, travel and what to bring, sent two days before |
| Post-event follow-up | 45 seconds | Thank attendees, point at the recording and open the next booking |
A worked script outline
- 1Lead with the date and the city"Thursday 14 May, in Manchester, one day, ninety people." Everything else is secondary.
- 2Name the audience precisely"This is for operations leads in mid-sized manufacturers." Vague audiences sell vague numbers of tickets.
- 3Give one genuine drawA named session, a workshop, a room of peers. One, specific.
- 4Close with price and deadline"£180 plus VAT, and early rate closes on the 30th."
Compliance and tone notes
- Ticket pricing on camera must include or clearly exclude VAT, and any early-bird deadline stated must be honoured.
- Do not name a speaker before their contract is signed — a promo is very hard to retract once attendees have shared it.
- Accessibility details belong in the joining instructions video: step-free access, hearing loops and quiet spaces.
- Reproduce rather than caveat when a venue or time changes; an outdated event video circulating is worse than none.

Questions people ask
Is there a free tier?
Yes. One promo video can be produced with no card, which suits a single event trial before it becomes part of every campaign.
Can I use my own likeness?
Yes. Host and organiser likenesses work well for joining instructions because attendees then recognise someone at the registration desk.
Do you support other languages?
Yes, 42 languages. International conferences can issue the same promo per market rather than relying on one English version to carry every region.
