Mortgages
Video for mortgage brokers
Rates, paperwork and progress updates, sent before the client chases.
Mortgage brokers make four regularly: a rate or market update, a document checklist video, an application progress update and a product switch explainer. Each runs forty-five to ninety seconds and is reused across the client book.
Why video earns its place here
The document checklist video pays for itself in a week. Payslips, bank statements, identification and the reasons each is needed, explained once, removes the most common cause of a stalled application.
Progress updates stop the chase emails. A forty-five second weekly note saying where the case sits and what happens next keeps the client from ringing the lender directly and confusing the file.
The four videos this sector makes most
| Video | Length | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Rate or market update | 60 seconds | Explain what moved and what it means for clients coming off a fixed rate |
| Document checklist | 90 seconds | What to send, in what format, and why each item is needed |
| Application progress update | 45 seconds | Where the case is and what happens next, sent weekly |
| Product switch explainer | 60 seconds | Compare staying, switching and remortgaging without recommending on camera |
A worked script outline
- 1Anchor it in the client's situation"If your fixed rate ends in the next six months, this one is for you."
- 2Say what actually changedPlain numbers, no commentary on where rates go next.
- 3Give the next practical step"We can usually secure a new rate up to six months ahead, so the review is worth doing now."
- 4State the boundary and the risk warning"Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage. This is information, not a recommendation."
Compliance and tone notes
- Mortgage promotions are regulated. The repossession warning must be included, approval must precede release, and fees must be stated if the video mentions cost.
- Do not forecast interest rates on camera. Describing what has happened is defensible; predicting what will happen is not.
- Any illustration of monthly payments needs the assumptions stated, or it should be left out of a short video entirely.
- Keep affordability and credit comments general — a comment about a client's circumstances in a shareable video is a data protection problem.

Questions people ask
Is there a free tier?
Yes, with no card. One document checklist video is usually the first thing brokers produce, because it saves admin from the very first case it is sent on.
Can I use my own likeness?
Yes. Clients choosing a broker are choosing a person, so a broker's own likeness on progress updates reinforces the relationship the fee is paying for.
Do you support other languages?
Yes, 42 languages. Where a client's first language is not English, a checklist video in that language reduces the document errors that delay an offer.
