Video for dental practices
Treatment explanations, plan pricing and aftercare, given the same way every time.
Dental practices make four most often: a treatment explainer, a new patient welcome, a membership plan and pricing video, and an aftercare guide. Each runs forty-five to ninety seconds and is sent with the appointment email.
Why video earns its place here
Treatment acceptance improves when the explanation happens before the chair, not in it. A patient who has watched a calm ninety-second explanation of an implant pathway arrives with better questions and fewer objections about cost.
Aftercare is the clinical safety win. Post-extraction instructions replayed at home reduce the out-of-hours calls that follow every afternoon list.
The four videos this sector makes most
| Video | Length | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Treatment explainer | 90 seconds | What the treatment involves, how many visits and the realistic recovery |
| New patient welcome | 45 seconds | What happens at the first examination and what to bring |
| Plan and pricing | 60 seconds | Explain membership plans and private fees without a leaflet |
| Aftercare guide | 60 seconds | Post-treatment instructions patients can replay at home |
A worked script outline
- 1Say what the appointment involves"A first examination takes about thirty minutes and includes photographs and, if needed, x-rays."
- 2Be specific about visits and time"An implant pathway is usually three appointments over four to six months."
- 3Give fees as ranges, with the assessment caveat"Fees start from £X, and the exact figure comes after your assessment."
- 4Close with aftercare and contact"Avoid hot drinks for the rest of the day, and ring the practice if bleeding has not settled by the morning."
Compliance and tone notes
- Dental advertising must not trivialise treatment or guarantee cosmetic outcomes, and the practice's regulated status and complaints route should be easy to find.
- Price claims must be complete: if a fee is "from", say what changes it, and keep private and NHS charges clearly distinct.
- Never use patient photographs, cases or reviews in a video without specific written consent for that use.
- Clinical scripts should be approved by a registered dentist and reissued when the treatment protocol changes.

Questions people ask
Is there a free tier?
Yes. Practices usually produce a single new patient welcome on the free allowance and attach it to booking confirmations before deciding on a plan.
Can I use my own likeness?
Yes. Patients are choosing a clinician as much as a practice, so a dentist's own likeness on treatment explainers is generally more effective.
Do you support other languages?
Yes, 42 languages. Aftercare in a patient's first language is a genuine safety improvement, not just a convenience, for practices in mixed-language areas.
