Price list

Price list video

Numbers on a page raise questions. A person answers them.

Paste the price list, or upload it as a document. The script step turns tiers and inclusions into spoken explanation you edit. Choose a presenter and you get a video for your pricing page.

The detail, in plain English

Nobody wants every price read to them. What people want is the shape: how many options there are, what separates them, and which one suits someone like them.

Say prices carefully. Speak the currency, round only where you have permission to, and never imply a discount or offer that the list does not contain.

What to do, step by step

  1. 1Paste the listBring in the tiers, prices and inclusions. Long tables are fine; you will speak only part of them.
  2. 2Explain the difference, not the digitsFor each tier, say who it is for and what changes at the next step up.
  3. 3Produce and publishChoose a presenter, produce around 90 seconds, and place it beside the pricing table.

A worked example

Worked example (illustration). A four-tier maintenance price list becomes a 90-second video: who each tier suits, that the difference between the middle two is response time rather than cover, that all prices exclude VAT, and how to change tier mid-contract.

What to watch out for

  • Remake the video whenever prices change — a wrong price spoken aloud is a real problem.
  • State clearly whether prices include VAT.
  • Do not read a long table aloud; nobody retains it.

How AutoPersonify does it

PDF, Word, plain text and Markdown files are read in your browser, and a public web address can be read for you. Everything else is pasted in as text. You then get 143 real presenters, scripts in 42 languages, and a free tier with no card. Paid plans are Starter £49, Growth £149 and Scale £499 a month, measured in finished video minutes.

Questions people ask

How long does it take?

Fifteen minutes. The prices are already fixed, so the script step is about explaining the differences rather than writing anything new.

Can I change the wording?

Yes, though the figures themselves should match the published list exactly. Only the explanation around them should be rewritten.

What does it cost?

Free to make one. Businesses that revise prices a few times a year rarely need more than Starter at £49 a month.
