Customer feedback
Customer feedback notes to video
What a customer told you, said in a way others can hear.
Paste the notes from the conversation. The script step turns them into a spoken account you edit. Choose a presenter and you get a short video retelling the feedback, with the customer's permission.
The detail, in plain English
This is a retelling, not an impersonation. A presenter is not the customer, so the script should say where the feedback came from and what was said, rather than performing it in the first person.
Permission comes before production. Ask the customer to approve the exact wording, especially if you name them or their organisation, and keep the approval on record.
What to do, step by step
- 1Paste your notesBring in what was actually said, including any direct quotes you wrote down at the time.
- 2Get the wording approvedSend the draft script to the customer and change whatever they ask before producing anything.
- 3Produce a short retellingChoose a presenter, keep it under a minute, and be explicit that this is feedback received.
What this format looks like as a video
| Beat | Content |
|---|---|
| Framing | Who gave the feedback, and when |
| The situation | What they were trying to do |
| The quote | Their words, approved |
| The outcome | Only what they told you |
| Attribution | Named, or anonymised by request |
A worked example
Worked example (illustration). Notes from a call with a logistics customer become a 55-second video: the presenter explains this is feedback from a customer of six months, quotes their approved sentence about paperwork time, and states the outcome exactly as they described it.
What to watch out for
- Never invent, embellish or tidy a quote into something stronger than what was said.
- Do not name a customer or organisation without written permission.
- Make it obvious the presenter is retelling feedback, not playing the customer.
How AutoPersonify does it
PDF, Word, plain text and Markdown files are read in your browser, and a public web address can be read for you. Everything else is pasted in as text. Questions people ask
How long does it take?
Ten minutes of production, but usually a few days in total, because the customer needs time to approve the wording.
Can I change the wording?
You can edit your own framing freely. The quoted part should only change with the customer's agreement, and then it needs approving again.
What does it cost?
Free to make one. A business publishing a few of these a quarter fits Starter at £49 a month.
