Video for logistics companies

Driver briefings, depot inductions and customer updates, made without stopping the fleet.

Logistics companies make four: a driver briefing, a customer service disruption update, a depot induction and a tender response. Each is produced in minutes, which suits a business where the plan changes by the hour.

Why video earns its place here

Drivers do not attend meetings. A sixty-second briefing sent to a handheld before shift start covers the new delivery point, the site restriction and the paperwork change more reliably than a note in the cab.

Customer updates during disruption protect contracts. One recorded explanation of a weather or port delay, sent to every affected account, is far better received than silence followed by an invoice query.

A worked script outline

  1. 1Name the route and the date"This covers the Midlands trunk run from Monday the ninth."
  2. 2State the single change"The Rugby drop moves from bay four to bay nine, with a booking slot at 05:40."
  3. 3Give the paperwork detail"They now require two copies of the delivery note signed at the gatehouse."
  4. 4Close with the contact"Anything refused on site, call transport control before leaving the yard."

Compliance and tone notes

  • Nothing in a driver briefing may encourage exceeding drivers' hours or speed limits; where timings are tight, say the slot may be rebooked.
  • Dangerous goods instructions must reference the written procedure and the trained responsible person rather than summarising handling on camera.
  • Service level commitments repeated to customers on camera can be treated as contractual assurances, so keep them within the agreed terms.
  • Yard safety content should state segregation and high-visibility requirements explicitly, not as general advice.

What it costs

Start free with no card. Paid plans are Starter £49, Growth £149 and Scale £499 a month, measured in finished video minutes. Agencies reselling videos to their own clients pay a 5% platform fee on those sales. See plans and prices.

Questions people ask

Is there a free tier?

Yes, and no card is needed. Most operators start with one driver briefing to see whether it gets watched before a shift rather than ignored.

Can I use my own likeness?

Yes. Transport managers often appear as themselves so drivers recognise who is issuing the instruction and who to call back.

Do you support other languages?

Yes, 42 languages, which is heavily used for depot inductions and agency drivers working across several European lanes.
