Video for architects
Concept presentations, planning updates and fee proposals, explained without a meeting.
Architectural practices make four: a concept presentation, a planning application update, a fee proposal walkthrough and a practice credentials piece. Each is produced in minutes from notes the project architect already has.
Why video earns its place here
Clients struggle to read drawings. A short narrated concept video explaining the two moves that drive the design gets a decision far faster than emailing a set of plans and waiting.
Planning is slow and clients grow anxious. A monthly sixty-second update stating the consultation position and the target committee date keeps the relationship intact through a determination period.
The four videos this sector makes most
| Video | Length | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Concept presentation | 2–3 minutes | The brief, the two design moves and the options being carried forward |
| Planning application update | 60 seconds | Validation, consultation responses and the target determination date |
| Fee proposal walkthrough | 90 seconds | Work stages covered, exclusions and what triggers additional fees |
| Practice credentials | 2 minutes | Relevant sector experience, submitted with bids and framework applications |
A worked script outline
- 1Restate the brief in the client's words"You asked for four bedrooms, a workspace and as much south light as the plot allows."
- 2Explain the two decisions that shape it"We pushed the mass to the north boundary and opened the ground floor to the garden."
- 3Be honest about the constraint"The conservation area limits what we can do to the front elevation, so change is at the rear."
- 4Ask for a specific decision"We need option B confirmed this week to hold the planning submission date."
Compliance and tone notes
- Only describe a person or practice as an architect where the registration is current, since the title is protected.
- Never suggest a planning outcome is likely or assured; describe the policy position and the process.
- Fee proposals stated on camera should match the written appointment, including the work stages and the exclusions.
- Where images belong to visualisers, photographers or collaborators, confirm the licence covers use in a shared video.

Questions people ask
Is there a free tier?
Yes, without a card. Small practices tend to test it on one concept presentation, because the time saved against a face-to-face review is obvious immediately.
Can I use my own likeness?
Yes. The project architect usually appears as themselves, since a design explanation carries weight only from the person who made the decisions.
Do you support other languages?
Yes, 42 languages, useful on international competitions and for clients whose technical reading is strongest in their first language.
