Proposal

Proposal to video

The covering note nobody reads, delivered as something they watch.

Upload the proposal as a PDF or Word file, or paste the summary. The script step turns it into a spoken cover note you edit. Choose a presenter and send it with the document.

The detail, in plain English

A proposal is usually forwarded to two or three people who were never in your meetings. A two-minute video travels with it and gives those people the context your contact would otherwise have to relay.

Do not narrate the pricing. Say what the work is, what happens first and how long it takes, then leave the commercial detail to the document where it can be read carefully.

A worked example

Worked example (illustration). A 12-page proposal for a warehouse fit-out becomes a 2-minute video: the client's own words on the problem, the three-phase approach, the first milestone date, and a request to reply with a call time.

What to watch out for

  • Never quote a price in the video that could drift from the document.
  • Check the client's company and contact names are pronounced as they should sound.
  • Send the video and the proposal together; a video with nothing attached feels evasive.

How AutoPersonify does it

PDF, Word, plain text and Markdown files are read in your browser, and a public web address can be read for you. Everything else is pasted in as text. You then get 143 real presenters, scripts in 42 languages, and a free tier with no card. Paid plans are Starter £49, Growth £149 and Scale £499 a month, measured in finished video minutes.

Questions people ask

How long does it take?

Fifteen to twenty minutes per proposal. Teams that send several a week build a reusable structure and only change the opening and the milestone.

Can I change the wording?

Yes, all of it. The opening in particular should be rewritten each time so it uses the client's own language about their problem.

What does it cost?

Free to try. Sales teams sending proposal videos regularly tend to use Growth £149 a month; agencies reselling to clients also pay a 5% platform fee on those sales.
