- A video does not replace the controlled document. Reference the procedure number on screen and in the script so the video is traceable in your quality system.
- Safety instructions must state the required isolation and permit steps rather than summarising them as taking care.
- Specification claims for distributors must match the current datasheet revision, because a video circulates long after the revision changes.
- Where work instructions are audited, keep a version history of the video alongside the procedure it supports.
