The detail, in plain English
Show notes are a list of what was said, not an argument. The video version needs one claim from the episode, said plainly, with a reason to go and listen to the full thing.
Timestamps are useless spoken. Convert '14:20 — pricing mistakes' into 'about a third of the way in, we get into why most people underprice' or drop it entirely.

A worked example
Worked example (illustration). Notes for episode 46 with a commercial landlord become a 45-second vertical clip built entirely around one claim from the episode about rent review timing, ending with the episode name and where to hear it.
What to watch out for
- Do not attribute a quote to a guest unless the notes record them saying it.
- Avoid listing every topic covered; it reads as a table of contents.
- Keep it under a minute — this is promotion, not a summary.
