Video for telecoms providers

Install guides, fault updates and contract explainers, produced per product and per fault.

Telecoms providers make four: a self-install guide, a fault or works update, a contract and speed explainer and a business customer onboarding video. Each is produced in minutes, which keeps pace with product and tariff changes.

Why video earns its place here

Self-install kits fail on the doorstep. A guide covering the router, the socket and the first fifteen minutes reduces engineer callouts that cost more than a year of the customer's line rental.

Fault communication is the loyalty test. A short daily update naming the exchange, the cause and the expected restoration keeps customers from escalating to the regulator or to social media.

A worked script outline

  1. 1State the product and the day"Your full fibre service goes live on the fourteenth, and the kit arrives before then."
  2. 2Walk the physical steps in order"Plug the router into the white box, wait for the light to settle green, then connect."
  3. 3Set the expectation for speed"Speeds settle over the first few days as the line stabilises."
  4. 4Give the failure route"If the light is red after twenty minutes, use the support link below before booking an engineer."

Compliance and tone notes

  • Speed claims must follow the advertising rules on average speeds and be consistent with the personal estimate given at the point of sale.
  • Mid-contract price rises and notice rights must be described exactly as they appear in the contract summary.
  • Do not state that a service is unaffected by a fault unless the network position has been confirmed.
  • Business customers have different cancellation rights from consumers, so keep the two scripts separate and clearly labelled.

Questions people ask

Is there a free tier?

Yes, and no card. Providers usually build one self-install guide first, because avoided engineer visits are easy to count.

Can I use my own likeness?

Yes, though most providers use presenters for install and fault content so the library can be re-recorded whenever the hardware changes.

Do you support other languages?

Yes, 42 languages, most often applied to install guides where a misunderstood step results in an unnecessary engineer appointment.
