Video for hotels

Pre-arrival information, room types and rate rules, produced once and reused nightly.

Hotels make four regularly: a pre-arrival guest note, a room type guide, a rate and cancellation explainer and a meetings or events enquiry reply. Each takes minutes to produce and is reused across every booking.

Why video earns its place here

Pre-arrival is where video earns money rather than applause. Parking, check-in times, late arrival and the restaurant booking all sit in one sixty-second note attached to the confirmation, and the front desk stops answering the same call.

Room type confusion drives downgrades and complaints. A short guide per room type, linked from the booking engine, makes the difference between a classic and a superior obvious before the guest has paid.

A worked script outline

  1. 1Greet by stay, not by brand"You are with us on Friday for two nights, and here are the three things worth knowing."
  2. 2Give the practical facts in order"Check-in is from three, the car park is behind the building, and reception is staffed overnight."
  3. 3Offer one upsell honestly"Breakfast is £16 if added before arrival and £19 on the morning."
  4. 4Close with a direct line"Reply to this email if anything changes and we will hold the room."

Compliance and tone notes

  • Prices quoted on camera must be total prices including VAT and any compulsory charges, matching what the booking engine takes.
  • Cancellation and no-show terms described in a video form part of the contract the guest relies on, so repeat the written policy word for word in meaning.
  • Accessibility claims — step-free access, accessible bathrooms, hearing loops — should only be stated where the feature is surveyed and current.
  • Star ratings and awards may only be mentioned where the accreditation is current and issued by the awarding body.

Questions people ask

Is there a free tier?

Yes. A pre-arrival note is the usual free build, because one video attached to every confirmation reduces desk calls from the first night onwards.

Can I use my own likeness?

Yes. General managers often record themselves for the pre-arrival note, then use presenters for the room type library so the two do not have to be reshot together.

Do you support other languages?

Yes, 42 languages, issued per booking source. Inbound leisure markets get their own version without a second recording session.
